Our mission is to blend artisanal ingredients with creative flair in a high-energy, beautiful space. We are building our founding kitchen team from the ground up, and we know that a flawless service starts with a brilliant kitchen porter. The Role: Kitchen Porter We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our founding team. As the backbone of our kitchen, you will play a vital role in launching this new concept. You will work in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your hard work is truly valued, helping the chefs keep the service running seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across the wash-up area, kitchen workstations, and food storage zones., • Equipment Care: Operate the dishwasher efficiently and hand-wash delicate kitchen and front-of-house equipment., • Food Prep Support: Assist the chef brigade with basic food preparation (such as peeling vegetables and organising ingredients) during quieter periods., • Stock and Organisation: Help accept and organise daily fresh produce deliveries, ensuring correct storage and stock rotation., • Waste Management: Manage food waste and recycling disposal in line with kitchen protocols., • Health and Safety: Adhere to all kitchen hygiene, safety regulations, and chemical handling guidelines. Requirements: • A reliable, proactive team player with a strong can-do attitude, which is essential for a brand-new opening., • Ability to work efficiently and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn., • Local to Kew or the surrounding Richmond areas is highly preferred., • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. We are seeking a talented Cake Artist and Baker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for exceptional craftsmanship. This role is ideally suited to someone who understands that a beautifully designed cake is more than a dessert; it is a centrepiece that brings elegance, personality, and occasion to life. Key Responsibilities • Bespoke Cake Design: Create elegant, bespoke wedding and celebration cakes that reflect each client’s individual style., • Styling and Craftsmanship: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail through delicate sugar work, hand-crafted decorations, and refined finishing techniques., • Precision Baking: Follow and refine recipes with care and accuracy. At Rozies, we value consistency, flavour, and a polished finish across every product we create., • Workspace Standards: Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace, recognising that excellent craftsmanship begins with high professional standards., • Client Interaction: Occasionally liaise with clients to understand their vision and ensure each bespoke cake is delivered to an exceptional standard. Warmth, professionalism, and strong communication are essential., • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Rosy and her team to deliver outstanding products and memorable customer experiences. Technical Skills Required • Hands-on experience working with ganache, • Strong buttercream finishing skills, • Ability to create bespoke decorations, including fondant figures and cake toppers, • Experience producing and applying edible print toppers Skills and Experience • Strong passion for celebration and wedding cake design, • Demonstrated skill in sugar work, fondant, piping, and contemporary cake decorating techniques, • Previous experience in a cake studio, bakery, or similar environment is preferred, • Culinary or pastry school training would be advantageous but not essential, • Strong time management skills, particularly when working on made-to-order creations, • Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude, • Flexibility to work some weekends, particularly during busy event periods (if needed) At Rozies, we bring creativity and care to every bake. We are building our founding kitchen team from the ground up and are looking for passionate, forward-thinking chefs who want to make their mark on the Richmond food scene. The Roles: We are recruiting for all levels, including Head Chef, Sous Chefs, Junior Sous, CDPs, and Commis Chefs. Whether you are an experienced leader ready to run the pass or a rising talent, you will play a vital role in launching this new concept. You will work in a collaborative environment where creativity is encouraged, and the standards are high. Key Responsibilities (Role Dependent): -Head Chef: Lead the kitchen launch, design seasonal menus, manage GP margins, and mentor the full brigade. -Sous Chef: Support the Head Chef in daily operations, kitchen management, and team leadership. -All Levels: Prepare and present innovative brunch dishes and refined small plates to a consistently high standard. -Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance. -Stock & Prep: Manage fresh produce and daily prep lists to ensure zero waste and peak quality. -Collaboration: Work as a cohesive unit to deliver a seamless guest experience during high-volume services.
