Internal Sales Account Manager Wymondham, Norwich Full Time, Permanent: Monday to Friday (Days) £27,000 – £35,000 per annum Performance-related bonus structure 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Our client, a well-established and growing electronics business supplying components, kits, assemblies and solutions across a range of industry sectors, is seeking an Internal Sales Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in internal sales, account management or a technical/commercial environment to join a supportive and growing business. The role offers long-term development, the chance to work closely with both customers and suppliers, and exposure to a highly technical product range. The Role Reporting into the Sales function, you will be responsible for: • Managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts as the primary internal contact, • Handling inbound sales enquiries and preparing accurate quotations, • Proactively identifying opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts, • Following up quotations and managing the sales process through to order completion, • Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding pricing, lead times and availability, • Maintaining accurate customer and sales data within the ERP system, • Supporting external sales representatives where required, • Delivering excellent customer service and resolving queries in a professional manner What We’re Looking For Essential: • Previous experience in internal sales, account management or a customer-facing commercial role, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • Commercial awareness with a proactive and solutions-focused approach, • Good organisational skills and attention to detail, • Confident using Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems Desirable: • Experience within electronics or a technical engineering environment, • Understanding of electronic components (or a willingness to learn), • Experience working closely with procurement or supply chain teams What’s On Offer • £27,000 – £35,000 salary (dependent on experience), • Performance-related bonus structure, • 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, • Supportive team environment, • Ongoing training and development, • Opportunity to progress within a growing business
