Established, growing Tour Operator is keen to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Department in Birmingham (hybrid working available). We are seeking a highly hands-on, creative Digital Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution - from launching campaigns to writing copy, analysing performance, and continuously improving results. You will play a key role in driving online bookings, increasing brand visibility, and bringing our travel experiences to life through engaging digital content. Salary is circa £50k pa dependent on experience and there is excellent opportunity for career development.\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\n\nDigital Campaign Execution (Hands-On)\n\nPlan, build, and optimise digital campaigns across Google Ads and Meta platforms\nTake ownership of campaign setup, targeting, testing, and optimisation\nManage budgets closely to deliver strong ROI and cost efficiencyCreative Content & Brand Storytelling\n\nWrite and oversee engaging, high-converting copy for ads, emails, and website content\nDevelop inspiring travel content (blogs, itineraries, social posts) that drives engagement and bookings\nWork closely with designers (or create simple assets yourself) to bring campaigns to life\nEnsure brand tone and visual identity are consistent across all channelsWebsite & Conversion Optimisation\n\nManage and update website content, landing pages, and offers\nContinuously improve user experience and conversion rates\nWork with developers where needed to implement improvementsSEO & Organic Growth\n\nExecute SEO strategy including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content creation\nGrow organic traffic through high-quality, relevant travel contentEmail Marketing & CRM\n\nBuild and send email campaigns, newsletters, and automated journeys\nSegment audiences to improve engagement and conversion\nSupport customer retention and repeat bookings through targeted campaignsAnalytics & Performance Tracking\n\nMonitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics\nTrack key metrics (traffic, conversion rates, CPA, ROI)\nRun A/B tests and continuously refine campaigns based on dataSocial Media Management\n\nManage day-to-day social media activity (posting, responding, engaging)\nCreate and schedule content that inspires and converts\nIdentify trends and opportunities to grow reach and engagement \n\nKey Skills & Experience\n\nProven experience in a hands-on digital marketing role (not purely strategic)\nStrong working knowledge of PPC, paid social, SEO, and email marketing\nAbility to both create and execute campaigns independently\nExcellent copywriting and content creation skills\nExperience using tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and social media platforms\nComfortable managing multiple projects and priorities \n\nDesirable\n\nExperience in travel, tourism, or lifestyle brands\nBasic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe tools)\nExperience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)\nFamiliarity with email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot) \n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nCreative thinker with a strong eye for detail\nProactive, self-starter with a "get things done" attitude\nCommercially aware and results-driven\nPassionate about travel and storytelling\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business \n\nTHE PACKAGE:\n\nStarting salary is circa £50k pa and this is a real career opportunity, as this dynamic Travel Company continues to grow.\n\nINTERESTED?\n\nPlease follow the instructions to apply attaching your CV.
