The school also provides therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech and language therapies where these are part of the young person's EHCP. Strong problem-solving, communication, numeracy, and IT skills are essential, alongside knowledge of housing maintenance, construction, building regulations, CDM, health and safety, and ideally compliance areas such as asbestos, fire, and legionella. You will be self-motivated, organised, and collaborative. Experience as a maintenance surveyor, asset surveyor, or a background in trades/contract management inspecting building works would be highly advantageous. Access to your own vehicle is required to travel between sites.
