Sales Executive London & South Position: Sales Executive London & South Line Manager: Reports to the Business Development Director Salary: £30000 Hours: Full-Time Main Place of Work: Corby, Northamptonshire (approx. 30% Field Based) Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our clients team. The role is primarily site-based in Corby , with approximately 30% of your time spent visiting client sites across London and the South. There is potential for a hybrid working arrangement in the future , but the successful candidate must be comfortable spending time on-site and traveling to client locations. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities, including: Passenger transport infrastructure projects (rail, bus, airport, transport interchanges) Development/construction projects (education, retail, commercial developments and regeneration projects) Major development projects and new sectors/markets Sales Process Management: Conduct product presentations, manage client enquiries, request quotations, and close sales. Site Surveys: Carry out site surveys to support quotation and sales order processes. Administration & Reporting: Update client records, track quotations, and monitor sales progress using company systems. Target Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Requirements: Proven experience as a Sales Executive, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting, persuading, and negotiating. Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. High level of resilience and self-motivation in a competitive environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Professional and customer-focused attitude.
