Design Manager – North West Commercial | Industrial | Education | Extra Care | Residential Location: Warrington, Preston, Liverpool & Manchester Salary: Competitive + Package Contract Type: Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Design Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for leading the design process across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working on schemes within commercial, industrial, education, extra care and residential sectors, you will play a key role in ensuring that design solutions are practical, cost-effective and fully aligned with client requirements. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the design process from pre-construction through to handover., • Coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors and internal teams., • Ensure designs are buildable, compliant and aligned with budget, programme and quality expectations., • Chair design meetings and provide clear communication between all stakeholders., • Identify and mitigate design risks while driving value engineering opportunities., • Support bid and pre-construction teams with technical input for tenders and presentations. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a strong technical background, excellent organisational skills and a track record of managing the design function on a variety of projects.
