Role Overview: Performance Marketing Manager As our Performance Marketing Manager, you will help drive our lead generation by taking ownership of our paid performance channels, overseeing agency partners currently running campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Your primary focus will be on lead generation and optimizing for long sales cycles, using data to guide decisions and drive continuous performance improvement. We’re ambitious, so these channels are just a start which means additional experience across programmatic, LinkedIn, native ads or more would be beneficial. We’re also collaborative, with multiple marketing channels and platforms. A key part of this role is to understand the end-to-end journey of a lead from enquiry to sale and, as a marketer, help optimise that process. You’ll be able to turn your hand to web analytics, content optimisation or CRM programmes. If there’s an opportunity to use your marketing skills to improve the business outcome, you’ll spot it and act on it. This is a highly numerate, data-led role that requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of digital campaign architecture, and the ability to communicate performance insights clearly across the business. You’ll be used to working with sales teams and supporting them in converting the leads that your activity generates. Key Responsibilities • Agency Management: Lead day-to-day relationships with paid media agencies; ensure alignment on goals, budgets, and performance KPIs., • Tactics & Execution: Own and optimise campaign strategies for Google Ads and Meta Ads to deliver qualified leads that convert., • Strategy: Identify new opportunities and help plan our future digital marketing., • Campaign Structure: Collaborate with agencies on audience targeting, bidding strategies, and budget allocations., • Ad Copy & Creative Briefing: Oversee the development of compelling, compliant, and conversion-driven ad copy and creative assets., • Data Analysis: Monitor performance daily/weekly/monthly, identifying opportunities for improvement using data storytelling to influence decisions., • Attribution & Funnel Insight: Work closely with the CRM and sales teams to understand lead quality and ROI across each stage of the funnel., • Web & Conversion Analytics: Use platforms like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools to understand user journeys and optimise for better performance., • Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable performance reports and insights to stakeholders, making complex data understandable and relevant. Skills • 5+ years’ experience in a digital/performance marketing role, with a focus on lead generation., • Proven experience managing or collaborating with digital media agencies., • Strong command of data analysis, performance metrics, and A/B testing methodologies., • Comfortable working with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM, Looker Studio) and proficiency in Excel., • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects with precision., • Experience of other digital marketing channels like CRM, SEO, web content and digital creative., • Strong written and verbal communication, especially in presenting data., • Experience working in long lead-to-sale environments is beneficial., • Industry experience in property/investment is not required—we’re looking for performance marketing expertise above all.
