About the Role: The Cardiology Application Specialist role will provide customer support and education to Nuclear Medicine and PET customers to enhance customer satisfaction and further strengthen our level of service to existing, new, and potential customers and in particular key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology. As Application Specialist, the Employee is expected to interface and provide value and appropriate leadership across a continuum of both Internal and External Stakeholders. Internal Stakeholders include, for example, Global Sales Organization, and Marketing. Responsibilities: • Provide full support for the prospective and current Cardiology customers to include Cardiac PET introduction presentations, radiation safety, training and ongoing continuing education., • Train all customer personnel on materials and equipment for Cardiac PET image acquisition/processing parameters on the different camera/scanner models and appropriate safe handling of radioactive materials (ALARA)., • Act as the initial contact for equipment troubleshooting problems/issues to new and existing customers. This includes development and implementation of troubleshooting techniques to ensure thorough understanding of the issue which will lead to problem resolution., • Serve as the primary liaison between Professional Services & customer base on generator or infusion cart problems/issues and complaints., • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders at all points of the sales process. Jointly develop a strategy to achieve the yearly sales quota and targets for customer retention., • Be an early adopter for new ways of working, driving the implementation and utilization of new initiatives., • Other duties as determined by business needs. Requirements: • Radiographer or NM technician backgrounds, • Extensive knowledge in the NM field/world at Country level, • Working knowledge of a clinical /hospital environment, • BS/BA preferred, • Minimum 3 years’ experience in nuclear medicine imaging, • Experience with cardiac PET and/or Oncology preferred, • Experience with cardiac PET installations, applications, and/or troubleshooting preferred, • Experienced with cross-functional and highly matrixed organizations., • Valid credentials and a willingness to live and work in the UK, and to travel periodically as necessary.
