The Role: Are you looking for a varied and challenging role with a Payroll team where you can make an impact? We are looking for a professional and driven Payroll Specialist, working with the EMEA Payroll team with sole ownership of UK and other EMEA countries. We are looking for someone with experience managing an end-to-end payroll process for multiple payrolls within a large pan European team. Role responsibilities: • Ownership of the end to end payroll process for multiple country payrolls to ensure accurate results and statutory compliance, • Liaise with external payroll vendor, • Responsible for the timely and accurate payment of net salaries, payroll taxes and related benefits, • Management of year end processing and other statutory filings as they relate to payroll, payroll taxes and benefits, • Management and understanding of the treatment of our Stock programmes: RSU/ESPP deductions gains and withholdings for the countries under your responsibility, • Liaise with HR Services, Stock Services, and other business units to obtain monthly updates for payroll in a timely manner, • Respond in a timely manner to queries from the payroll vendor, HR Services and employees (via the HR Employee Service Centre), • Maintain SOX payroll compliance through established internal processes, • Understand GL reporting as relates to payroll, and secures good working relationships with Finance/ GL teams, • Support Time and Attendance system for your countries and resulting inputs to payroll, • Update internal payroll procedures manual regularly to reflect changes in process, • Support other team members with workload as and when required, • Share payroll knowledge to a designated ‘back up’ team member to ensure business continuity in your absence, • Embrace change in a fast moving environment, • Scope to process further countries as and when required Required skills and experience: • Experience of payroll processing for multiple countries in medium/large organizations, • Highly proficient in interpreting payroll rules and regulations, • Excellent Excel skills, • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, • Fluency in English is essential, additional languages desirable, • Experience of decision making with complete ownership payroll process, • Flexibility and adaptability to support simultaneous business demands and deadlines, • Structured/Organized/ approach, • Previous experience within a pan-European environment or EMEA team Desirable skills and experience: • Previous experience of ADP (Streamline and iHCM advantageous), • Previous experience of Time and Attendance systems and feeds to payroll, • Previous experience of payroll with integration from an HR System, • Previous experience of Workday
