We are seeking an experienced and compassionateRegistered Managerto lead a therapeutic residential care home in Worthing. You will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, structured environment that supports young people in building resilience, developing independence, and preparing for the next stage of their lives. This residential childrens home will provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health challenges, and complex trauma histories. The Role: As the Registered Manager, you will: • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and our Statement of Purpose., • Provide dynamic and motivational leadership, embedding a positive team culture of reflection, growth, and continuous improvement., • Drive a therapeutic approach to care that supports each young persons emotional, social, and developmental needs., • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised care and placement plans in line with best practice and therapeutic frameworks., • Champion safeguarding and child protection, ensuring a consistently safe and supportive environment., • Lead the home through Ofsted inspections, with a focus on achieving Good or Outstanding outcomes., • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver high standards of care., • ALevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services.Candidates not yet qualified must be committed to achieving this rapidly., • ALevel 3 Children & Young Peoplequalification., • At least3 years of management experiencewithin childrens residential care settings., • Strong knowledge ofOfsted regulations, theChildrens Homes Regulations 2015,Quality Standards, and theChildrens Act 2010., • Experience of leading Ofsted-inspected services with a track record of positive outcomes., • A deep understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and the challenges facing looked-after children., • The ability to remain calm and confident in emotionally demanding situations., • Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills., • A competitive salary ranging from £57,000 to £62,000, • Flexible hybrid working to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance, • Generous holiday entitlement, giving you time to rest, recharge, and take care of your wellbeing, • Access to a market-leading pension scheme to support your financial future, • A comprehensive induction programme to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role, • Ongoing training, development, and genuine opportunities for career progression, • A positive, inclusive workplace culture grounded in strong values and mutual support JBRP1_UKTJ
