About Them Our Service user has an acquired brain injury, has pleural plaques and poor mobility, he is able to mobilise with the use of his walking frame within his home but will use a wheelchair when accessing the community. Due to the acquired brain injury conversation can be repetitive, so patience is a must. This is a 1-1 support service at home with the aim of getting him out into the community. He has his own mobility car, so we are looking for someone that has a diving license so this can be utilised. He is an easy go lucky gentleman who would like to get out in the community when he can. Accessing the community could be limited as he cannot sit for long period of times and does not like busy places like shops, cafes etc so quieter places is preferred. Family very important to him and visit regularly.
