Chef Director Multi-Site Events & Catering Operations Cardiff based, with travel across the South of the UK The Role We are seeking an experienced Chef Director / Multi site Executive Chef to lead a large-scale, premium events and catering operation delivering over 800 events annually across multiple locations. Based in Cardiff, this is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for culinary standards, kitchen operations, and team performance across a multi-brand business. You will oversee a large, mobile brigade delivering high-end food experiences across weddings, events, and venues. What’s on Offer • Salary up to £75,000, • Senior leadership role within a growing, ambitious business, • Opportunity to shape a multi-brand food operation, • Clear progression as the company expands, • Private medical insurance, • Free on-site parking Key Responsibilities • Lead and develop a large team of chefs across multiple sites, • Oversee high-volume, multi-location event catering operations, • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food across all events, • Manage HACCP, food safety, and compliance standards, • Control purchasing, supplier relationships, and food costs, • Drive operational efficiency, structure, and continuous improvement, • Work closely with senior leadership to support growth and performance About You • Proven experience as Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Chef Director, • Strong background in events, high-end catering, or large-scale hospitality, • Experience managing multi-site operations and large teams, • Strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and kitchen systems, • Commercially aware with solid cost control experience, • A confident leader who can inspire and manage teams at scale
