Our client, an award-winning and rapidly growing professional services firm, is seeking a Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager to join their dynamic Private Client Tax team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family businesses, delivering bespoke tax advisory solutions across a wide range of complex and interesting areas — including succession planning, inheritance tax, trusts, international tax, rural affairs, and transactional work. The Role As a key member of the private client team, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-quality, forward-thinking tax advice and overseeing compliance processes. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and collaborate across disciplines to provide integrated solutions to clients. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver tailored tax advice on complex matters such as residence and domicile, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, succession planning, trusts, and wealth structuring., • Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and identifying new planning opportunities., • Lead advisory projects and oversee the implementation of tax strategies., • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver joined-up solutions., • Supervise and mentor team members, delegating effectively and providing constructive feedback., • Review personal tax returns and related compliance work, identifying advisory opportunities., • Manage correspondence with HMRC, including enquiries and technical issue resolution., • Support business development initiatives, including client meetings, proposals, and thought leadership., • Manage budgets, billing, and WIP efficiently to ensure profitability across your portfolio. About You This role is ideal for a confident and ambitious tax professional looking to move into a more client-facing, strategic role in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll bring: • A relevant qualification (CA, ATT, CTA, STEP, or equivalent)., • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, with proven advisory experience., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills., • Solid project and time management abilities, with experience meeting deadlines and managing budgets., • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, partnerships, and/or international clients., • A passion for mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture., • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a desire to drive client success.
