Working closely with the Deputy General Manager and wider team, you will support the scheduling, booking, and delivery of services across all divisions.You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across Tankers, Road Sweepers, and CCTV units, with a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and customer service. Support waste division (Artics, RoRo and Hi-Tips)Key Objectives, Duties and ResponsibilitiesEffectively schedule, coordinate, and allocate work to drivers across all service lines (tankers, road sweepers, CCTV units, and waste division) to support efficient daily operationsMaintain clear, consistent communication with drivers throughout the day, managing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth job deliveryAccurately create, input, and manage bookings using the Team Leaf operations system, maintaining high attention to detail across all tasksMonitor job progress in real time, adjusting schedules as required to meet operational demands and maximise fleet utilisation and productivityCarry out end-of-day checks to ensure all completed work is accurately recorded, verified, and prepared for invoicing, including validation of job details and timesDeliver a high standard of customer service when handling calls, emails, bookings, and queries, ensuring professional and timely responsesLiaise effectively with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team to maintain alignment, resolve issues, and support service efficiencySupport the wider team in maintaining high operational standards, contributing to overall depot performance and continuous improvementAssist with general administrative duties related to operations and service deliveryAdhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures, reporting any operational issues, incidents, or concerns to managementContribute positively to teamwork and a collaborative working environmentRequirementsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail, particularly in relation to bookings and invoicing accuracyEffective communication skills, with confidence in dealing with drivers and customersAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamProactive and able to use initiative to resolve issues quicklyReliable, punctual, and professional in approachFlexible and adaptable to changing operational demandsEssential SkillsHigh level of attention to detailStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Confident in coordinating and allocating work to driversComputer literate, with the ability to quickly learn and use systems such asTeam LeafAbility to prioritise workload and manage time effectivelyProblem-solving mindsetDesired SkillsPrevious experience in a hire desk, transport, logistics, or waste management environmentFamiliarity with multi-vehicle operations (tankers, sweepers, CCTV)Experience using operational or scheduling systemsUnderstanding of invoicing processes and job costingWork Location: In perssonOur Core Values1.
