If not, can the contract be terminated and a new one negotiated? Liability and exclusions: Should liability for failure to comply with deadlines be limited or exclusions for events outside the contractor’s control be excluded. For example, arbitration can be a quicker and less expensive means of resolving supply chain disputes. Contract termination: In some situations, a contractor will want to terminate a contract whereas the manufacturer or retailer will want the supply contract to remain in force as they know the price set or current supply deadlines would not be achievable with another contractor. That is why it is important to ensure that termination of contract clauses is carefully considered from your business sector and your company perspective. In an ideal world, you’ll dot the i’s and cross the t’s from the outset, but often reusing old contracts or relying on email conversations to avoid lengthy negotiations seems the easiest way to move forward. This role is working on a Night Shift, working with Quality, NPI, Engineering & Operations Teams. The Quality Technician protects the customer by ensuring stable processes, detecting non‑conformance early, and escalating risks in real time, ensures each production shift consistently meets customer and internal quality requirements whilst providing immediate problem‑solving support to the production team.
