Art & LEGO Therapy Tutor - 1:1 Outreach Support (Fareham, Gosport & Waterlooville) Prospero Teaching is seeking a creative, empathetic, and child-centred Art & LEGO Therapy Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 therapeutic education sessions to young people across Fareham, Gosport, and Waterlooville who are currently unable to access mainstream education. This outreach role is ideal for someone with experience in art therapy, LEGO-based therapy, creative therapeutic interventions, or expressive arts, who is passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. What the Sessions Aim to Support • Emotional exploration, self-regulation, and coping strategies, • Confidence-building through creative expression and structured play, • Motivation to initiate and sustain social interaction, • Development of communication, turn-taking, and problem-solving skills Art Therapy Approaches • Drawing, painting, collage, • Mixed-media activities, • Photography, sculpting, sensory art, • Structured LEGO building to support communication and teamwork, • Turn-taking, • Problem-solving and collaborative challenges, • Location: Fareham, Gosport & Waterlooville, • Position: Art & LEGO Therapy Tutor (1:1 Outreach), • Start Date: ASAP, • Hours: Part-time (2-15 hours per week), • Session Length: 1-3 hours per session, • Pay Rate: From £25 per hour, • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or a relevant Art Therapy / Creative Therapy qualification/ Experience, • Experience delivering art-based or play-based therapeutic interventions, • Minimum 6 months' experience working with children or young people in the UK, • Experience supporting SEN and SEMH needs, • Right to Work in the UK, • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with your up-to-date CV.
