Known internally as a Resourcing Assistant, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, delivering great customer service and supporting people throughout the recruitment journey. As a Resourcing Assistant, you'll play an important role in providing efficient recruitment and onboarding administration, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure every interaction with candidates, colleagues and hiring managers is professional, inclusive and welcoming. Key Responsibilities Act as a first point of contact for recruitment and onboarding enquiries, providing timely and professional support to candidates, managers and colleagues. Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and assessments, scheduling meetings, booking rooms, preparing materials and issuing correspondence Process new starters and internal movers in People systems and prepare employment documents, including contracts and offer letters. Support pre-employment checks, including references, DBS checks, right to work checks, occupational health referrals and other onboarding requirements Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential recruitment and employee records in line with organisational requirements and data protection standards. Produce and maintain reports and management information to support workforce planning and service improvements. Work collaboratively across the People Team, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion and supporting continuous improvement of processes and services. What you'll need to succeed Experience working in an administrative role where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are important. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and communicate clearly using email, telephone, Microsoft Teams and other digital channels. Experience providing excellent customer service and acting as a first point of contact for colleagues, customers or stakeholders. The ability to manage competing priorities, stay organised and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of work. Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications and digital systems to manage information and maintain accurate records. Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
