Maternity cover: 9-12 months Location: Sassy+ Farringdon & Elstree (minimum 2 days in office) Salary Range: £37k - £40k based on experience ROLE SUMMARY: As an Account Manager at Sassy+, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and growing a portfolio of corporate and B2B accounts across branded content, live and virtual events, design, creative and podcast production. You’ll act as a trusted strategic partner to clients- understanding their business challenges, building long-term relationships, and ensuring every project drives measurable results. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Management • Act as the point of contact for your clients, building strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders across B2B and corporate sectors., • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, industries, and audiences, translating insights into strategic plans and briefs., • Lead regular meetings, calls and presentations, ensuring proactive communication and confidence in delivery., • Retain and grow accounts by bringing forward new ideas, creative solutions, and measurable value. Commercials & Growth • Support new business activity by preparing proposals, budgets and presentations, and by attending pitches., • Identify and develop opportunities to grow client partnerships that expand scope and drive profitability., • Maintain good commercial awareness—accurate forecasting, budget tracking and margin protection. Project Delivery • Oversee delivery across multi-disciplinary teams (Content, Live, Creative, Design, Post and Audio), ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and on brand., • Managing scopes, schedules, and resources effectively, with clear communication and timely escalation where needed., • Uphold the highest standards of quality, ensuring all deliverables meet client KPIs and industry best practices. Team Leadership • Mentor and guide Executives, supporting their professional growth and confidence., • Foster collaboration, creative problem solving, and a “can do” spirit across the team., • Lead by example, demonstrating positivity, professionalism, and accountability in all interactions. DESIRABLE SKILLS: • Proven experience in B2B or corporate account management within a creative, communications or production agency., • Confident managing multiple workstreams – from branded content and design to live/virtual events and podcasts., • Working knowledge across product offering including content, live, animation, podcasts, design, • Strong client-facing and presentation skills; able to influence and build trust quickly., • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling proposals, reports, and budgets., • Commercially astute with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Experience leading teams and supporting junior talent., • Proficient in Microsoft Office., • Strong understanding of corporate and B2B communication channels, including LinkedIn, and how to tailor messaging for professional audiences., • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a passion for creative excellence and client success. Media: • Implementation: Oversee the coordination and execution of comprehensive media plans across multiple channels, including digital, print, and broadcast., • Optimisation: Work closely with the Performance Team to ensure media campaigns are optimised for maximum ROI and effectiveness., • Analysis: Evaluate media performance and provide clients with actionable insights and strategic recommendations., • Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of detailed, insightful reports on campaign performance, trends, and opportunities. Creative and Content: • Development: Lead the briefing process for creative teams, ensuring the development of content and assets that align with client objectives and brand guidelines., • Coordination: Manage the production of creative materials, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained., • Strategy: Collaborate with the Strategy team to devise creative strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive meaningful engagement. Requirements and Characteristics: • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an account management or senior role within an advertising agency., • Proven leadership and client management skills with a track record of building successful client relationships., • Strong project management abilities, with a history of delivering complex campaigns on time and within budget., • Expertise in media planning, execution, optimisation, and analysis., • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff members., • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure., • Ownership of tasks, campaigns, and projects from inception to completion., • Ability to listen, understand, and read client sensitivity and emotion., • Reliable and capable of managing client expectations while delivering exceptional results., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and media planning tools.
