The position also includes line management responsibility for Assistant Building Safety Managers, supporting their development and performance. Key Responsibilities • Take ownership of building safety and compliance across an allocated portfolio, • Ensure buildings meet requirements under the Building Safety Act, • Contribute to Building Safety Case Reports and support certification processes, • Maintain ongoing building safety through oversight of maintenance, testing, and risk assessments, • Review fire safety systems, structural integrity, and overall risk management measures, • Procure and manage specialist safety services in line with organisational policies, • Maintain accurate building safety and compliance data using relevant systems, • Oversee operational performance of fire safety systems and M&E installations, • Build strong relationships with stakeholders including residents, safety teams, housing management, and property services About You, • Experience in operational building safety, including fire safety systems and M&E services, • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, • Ability to manage and interpret safety and compliance data across multiple systems, • Working towards or holding a Level 4 qualification in Building Safety (or equivalent) The organisation values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive and fair recruitment process, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.
