You will be visiting clients in their own homes, providing person-centred care and support that enables them to live independently and with dignity. As a key part of their daily life, you’ll make a genuine difference to the wellbeing of the people you support. This is a zero hours contract, offering flexibility to suit your availability, with work available across the West Sussex area. Key Responsibilities Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming Supporting with medication prompting and administration as required Preparing meals and supporting clients with nutrition and hydration Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling Light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities where needed Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any changes in a client’s condition to the care coordinator Working in accordance with individual care plans and company policies Requirements A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential — you will be travelling between client homes across West Sussex) A genuine passion for supporting others and making a difference Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively Reliability, empathy, and a professional attitude Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check Right to work in the UK Previous experience in a care or support role Desirable (but not essential) NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care What We Offer Flexible working hours to fit around your lifestyle Competitive hourly pay, with additional rates for weekends and bank holidays Paid mileage allowance Full induction and ongoing training, including manual handling and medication Support towards care qualifications A supportive and friendly team environment Regular supervision and wellbeing check-ins We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable adults.
