Job title: Seating - Lead Engineer Location: Gaydon, UK Duration of contract: 1 year (Fixed term employment, with possible extension) Hybrid work option: Yes, Customer will confirm during the interview Responsibilities: • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6-12 years of experience in automotive seating system and subsystem design and development, • Thorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive Seating system, • Experience in design of Seat and seat components e.g. Cushion Frame, Back frame, Headrest, seat plastic and recliners and track, • Relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various Seat parts., • Knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes, • Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation Lead design FMEA studies and GD&T, • Ability to perform Complete Seat packaging study of seating components, • Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system, • Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA), • Good knowledge of seating system and component manufacturing processes, • Ability to define seating comfort and define comfort target, • Actively engage with Automotive OEM / Tier-I design engineers to collaborate on design projects for trading off cost, mass, joining methods, moulding and testing performance., • Propose and promote design improvement approaches including cost reduction and design optimization • Lead completion of PE owned APQP deliverables and support delivery of Phased PPAP for owned components on time, • Manage the Design Verification Plan, liaise with the Core Testing and Validation team to ensure full compliance with risk prevention and detection controls., • Complete and release Seating system, sub-system and detail designs, • Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design, • Collaborate with seating suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events, • Must have ability to perform feasibility studies, Check A-class surface and define craftsman ship target., • Experience in DFMEA, DVP,DFA,DFM, • Meet project deliverables commitments and timeline, • Design of automotive component parts in CATIA V5/V6, • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and capability to drive offshore team WHAT YOU’LL NEED • Design experience in automotive industry, • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, • Experience in delivering Production intent design and Drawings, • Experience in creating designs using CAD tools such as CATIAV5,V6, 3D Experience, • Good verbal and written Communication Skills, • Experience in Agile Methodologies added advantage.

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, skilled and reliable Personal Assistant to provide a high standard of support to the Head Master at King's High School. The successful candidate will have experience of successfully providing senior personal assistant support, ideally within a school setting. A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism is a must. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across Warwick Schools Foundation and the Professional Services Teams to ensure that core school functions, including HR and Finance, operate efficiently. The successful candidate will have the ability and confidence to work independently and will remain calm and professional when under pressure. They will approach tasks with a positive can-do attitude, working with accuracy and attention to detail. They must have superb interpersonal and communication skills and have excellent I.T. skills, including Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint. Contract: Permanent, full-time, term-time only, plus 80 hours during the school holidays (to include all the week prior to the start of the new academic year).
