The Role: Technical Client Implementation Manager Location: London HQ Hybrid working and flexible hours: 4 days in the office and 1 WFH. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Client Implementation Manager to join our dynamic team. You will lead the onboarding of financial services clients (including asset managers, investment banks, and brokers) onto our platform, ensuring smooth integration of client data into our Novatus data model. This is a hands-on role requiring strong knowledge of derivatives trade lifecycle, middle office processes, and regulatory transaction reporting regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC etc). You will work closely with clients and internal teams, combining project management, data analysis, and subject matter expertise to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience. Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Implementation • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, guiding them through each step of the integration and setup of derivative transaction reporting and reconciliation technology., • Understand large sets of financial transaction and derivatives data to determine regulatory reporting eligibility and identify field-level attributes for mapping client source data to our Novatus data model., • Guide clients through data mapping and integration into the Novatus data model., • Work with clients to understand their reporting requirements, data formats, reconciliations and operational workflows., • Perform reconciliations for derivatives transaction reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness., • Coordinate with internal teams (product, technical, compliance, and support) to ensure that client specifications are met., • Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure that all reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance requirements are captured. System Configuration & Testing • Collaborate with technical teams to configure client accounts and data feeds, ensuring proper integration of client data feeds and derivatives transactions into the reporting and reconciliation platform., • Perform testing and validation of transaction data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of client reports., • Validate, test, and troubleshoot data flows, ensuring high-quality reconciliations and reporting outputs., • Raise and track tasks, issues, and milestones using JIRA to help align product, onboarding and engineering teams., • Troubleshoot and resolve any system or data discrepancies during the onboarding process. Project & Client Management • Manage onboarding projects end-to-end, including timelines, risks, and delivery expectations., • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, providing both project management and account management support., • Work with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Implementation) to ensure timely and efficient onboarding, managing timelines and expectations., • Escalate and resolve issues, ensuring deadlines and regulatory obligations are met., • Track and report on the progress of client onboarding, escalating issues where necessary to ensure that deadlines are met. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing • Stay up to date with regulatory changes across global regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, Dodd-Frank, etc.)., • Provide client feedback to product and technical teams to support platform enhancements., • Document onboarding processes, best practices, and FAQs to improve efficiency and client experience., • Gather client feedback to identify opportunities for improving the onboarding process and the overall client experience. Training & Support: • Provide training to clients on how to use the platform’s reporting and reconciliation features, including interpretation of reports, alerts, and exception handling., • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to support client onboarding, including process flows, guides, and FAQs., • Offer ongoing support during the initial usage phase to ensure a smooth transition and answer any client questions or concerns Essential Requirements: • 3–5 years’ experience in financial services, ideally middle office or regulatory reporting., • Strong understanding of the derivatives trade lifecycle and transaction reporting regimes., • Previous regulatory SME work (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, CFTC, FinFRAG, ASIC, MAS , CSA etc)., • Experience managing large sets of financial transaction and derivatives data, • Proven background in data mapping., • Hands-on experience with reconciliations in a regulatory reporting context., • Strong Excel skills for data management and reporting., • Familiarity with JIRA and structured project delivery approaches., • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills., • Ability to work cross-functionally with clients and technical teams. Nice to Have: • Prior experience in client onboarding, implementation consulting, or account management., • Working knowledge of SQL, • Working knowledge of Snowflake or AWS, • Experience working with financial technology or RegTech platforms.
