Your new role As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be a key member of the Technology Operations team, responsible for maintaining and optimising the organisation's on-premise infrastructure across the UK. You'll manage core services including Active Directory, Windows Server environments, storage systems (NAS/SAN), and virtualisation platforms. You'll also contribute to cloud migration projects and ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in Windows infrastructure, storage, and automation, with exposure to cloud technologies (Azure) and a strong understanding of IT service management. A large-scale Azure migration is underway, and you'll be working closely with a highly experienced Solutions Architect to help shape and deliver this transformation. Your new role As a Cloud Engineer (Azure), you’ll play a central role in designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on position where you’ll manage core Azure services, automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code, and ensure high availability and compliance across all cloud environments. You’ll be instrumental in driving the migration from on-premises to Azure, with the opportunity to influence architecture and best practices.
