Join our global team and grow with us. Job description Join our Tool Room team as a Toolmaker and play a key role in supporting all areas of Production and the Mould Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing injection mould tooling, while setting up and operating equipment including CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Grinders and other tool room machining equipment. Your work will help ensure the reliability, quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations, contributing to better health for more people. This position is based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire and operates on a rotating shift pattern comprising an early shift and a late shift rotation: Monday to Thursday 5.30am 2pm, Friday 6am 11am and Monday to Thursday 2pm 10pm, Friday 11am 6pm. Grow with us Your Responsibilities Maintain, repair and modify injection mould tooling, including hardened steel production tools, to support manufacturing operations Manufacture and fit high-quality components for production jigs, fixtures and tooling using CNC and conventional tool room equipment Set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Grinders and other tool room machinery safely and efficiently Inspect tooling and components visually and using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with required specifications and tolerances Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on tools, jigs and fixtures and support the development of preventative maintenance schedules in line with ISO 13485 requirements Support tooling and process improvement activities while providing day-to-day support to the Mould Shop team and the Manager of Injection moulding Maintain accurate maintenance, repair and compliance records while ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IVD regulations and good documentation practices Follow quality system requirements, escalate quality-related issues where appropriate and maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety Support apprentice development through training, coaching and knowledge sharing Required profile What will convince us Apprenticeship, vocational qualification or equivalent training in Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline Hands-on experience within a tool room, mould shop, manufacturing or engineering workshop environment Experience maintaining, repairing and modifying injection mould tooling, including hardened steel production tools Strong machining experience with the ability to achieve high-tolerance work CNC machining experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes Knowledge of hot runner systems, valve gates and manifolds Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work with 3D modelling software Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good IT skills and a highly organised approach xrnqpay to work In order to commence working with us, the successful candidate will have the right to work in the UK.
