The Opportunity: Job Overview: Oliver Wyman is seeking strong candidates for a Talent Manager Coordinator interested in joining a team in United Kingdom & Ireland, and working more broadly with a team across the Europe region. They will fully support the Head of Talent Management and team with all aspects of the function, such as staffing and resource allocation, performance management, talent development, and career advisory. The role is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced and international environment, within a team that has extremely close connection with the business. This is a 12-month FTC opportunity. Responsibilities: • Support talent management across the employee lifecycle, including staffing and resource allocation, performance management, talent development and career advisory aspects., • Coordinate performance management, career planning, project review processes for all consulting staff., • Support the staffing (resource allocation) process, including updating and maintaining project team information., • Prepare and manage staffing reporting such as utilisation reports, weekly staffing reports, availability reports, pipeline, time variance reporting and follow-up etc., • Manage and maintain talent data integrity via regular interactions with HC Operations, Recruitment, Mobility and other members of HC globally., • Responsible for overall talent systems administration within UK., • Analyse data and provide general support for various firm talent programs, such as work-life balance/quality initiatives, vacation management, flexible work arrangement initiatives etc., • Participate in the learning and development (L&D) agenda for the consultant population., • Contribute to the continual improvement of HC initiatives both regional and globally. Experience Required: • 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced resourcing environment/people management position/ but we do consider as well different levels of experience, • Experience balancing ever-changing work demands in a challenging environment with numerous stakeholders to satisfy, • Proven ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organization, • Ability to make decisions autonomously, • Ability to work both autonomously and within a larger team, • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and different cultures, • Proactive, high performer who takes full ownership of their work and manages the details, • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or Business Administration, • Excellent communication skills on all levels of the organization, • Talent management/professional services experience preferred Technical Skills: • Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), video/messaging tools (Zoom, MS Teams, Slack), collaboration tools (SharePoint) Skills and Attributes: • Team player able to function independently: collaborative and works effectively as part of a high-performing team, • Client Service: credible, able to communicate and negotiate effectively with partners and specialists, highly professional, • Result-oriented and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, • Creative, strategic thinker, who continually seeks ways to improve workflow and identify efficiencies, • Interested in the development and career success of the consultants, • Organised and rigorous; attention to detail and accuracy.
