ROLE OVERVIEW A leading company in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Qualified Person (QP) to join their team in the Oxford area. As a Qualified Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each batch of product is manufactured and checked in compliance with UK and EU regulations, GMP and relevant marketing authorisations. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Qualified Person will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Ensure certification of batches under the terms of the manufacturer's importation authorisation., 2. Assess each batch for certification prior to release, including reviewing batch records, QC data, and all relevant documents., 3. Confirm that all manufacturing and quality control activities comply with GMP principles., 4. Oversee the pharmaceutical quality systems to ensure product safety and data reliability. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Qualified Person we are looking to identify the following on your profile and history: 1. Currently operating as a QP with proven industry experience within a Biologics pharmaceutical business and IMP’s., 2. Relevant experience working within a Sterile environment., 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with EU and UK GMP regulations. The Role We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to lead sales growth in the performance aftermarket segment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and own the business development strategy for the performance aftermarket sector., • Identify, engage and convert new customers including tuning companies, aftermarket parts manufacturers and performance workshops., • Strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their technical and commercial needs., • Demonstrate and promote the benefits of Zircotec’s patented thermal barrier coatings, structural heat shielding and flexible heat shielding., • Attend industry events, trade shows and automotive gatherings to build visibility and generate leads., • Collaborate with engineering, production and marketing teams to deliver targeted solutions., • Strong sales and business development background within the automotive performance, motorsport or engineering aftermarket sectors., • A well-established contact book across the performance aftermarket, tuning and specialist vehicle communities, • Technical understanding of performance parts beneficial (exhausts, manifolds, induction, thermal management, coatings, etc.), • Natural relationship-builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills, • Self-driven, commercially analytical and motivated by target-based growth, • Comfortable representing a premium, innovation-led brand and delivering consultative sales solutions, • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus., • Willingness to travel as and when required., • Full UK driving license. New Business is: • Any company that has not participated in any OG event in the last full three years or more, • Any company that has never sponsored any OG event (could be past attendee of an event) Role Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: • Research and identify potential sponsors and exhibitors in target industries., • Maintain an up-to-date database of new business prospects using HubSpot., • Track interactions/tasks, manage pipelines, and work follow-ups., • Ensure inbound New Business leads (MQLs) are promptly contacted and serviced., • Conduct market outreach through calls, emails, and meetings to build a strong pipeline of leads. Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs during both phone and Teams meetings., • Use a multi-touch approach with strategically spaced follow-ups to engage leads over time., • Provide proposals that match client’s requirements and apply agreed pricing models, including early-bird incentives to encourage sign-ups, • Share insights on new business client preferences, content demands to attract more new business., • Report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and revenue expectations in weekly one to ones to the brand director/senior portfolio manager, • Report on KPIs on weekly and monthly basis with the aim to improve new business conversion rates, • Plus: on-site event management at in person events, assisting clients in the exhibition area, collecting feedback, supporting the event manager in all aspects of the event (international travel is required). We are looking for someone with: • Previous 2-4 years’ experience in a B2B sales role, • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, • Confidence and an autonomous approach to their work, • A willingness to learn and contribute to the success of a team More about the role: • Salary: £25,000- £45,000 PA (depending upon experience) + commission., • Location: All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office).
