IT Sales Consultant Newark-on-Trent £30,000 to £34,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission (Realistic earnings £60,000-£85,000+) + Car/Allowance + Benefits Excellent opportunity for an IT Sales professional to join a fast growing technology provider offering uncapped earning potential, long term career development and the chance to work with a wide range of business customers across multiple sectors. With continued growth across the group, they are now looking for an experienced IT Sales Consultant to manage and grow a key client base while also generating new opportunities within your territory. In this role you will work with existing customers to secure renewals, identify opportunities for expansion and cross selling, and provide consultative advice based on a strong understanding of their business needs. You will also generate new IT support contracts through prospecting, meetings, events and networking. You will be supported by technical teams, but you will need the confidence to discuss cloud, infrastructure, licensing, networks and security at a high level. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT sales, account management or technical sales within MSPs, VARs, IT support businesses or technology providers. You will be confident meeting customers face to face, presenting solutions, writing proposals and managing a territory. Experience discussing Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, networking or server solutions is highly desirable. Reporting to the customer’s Global IT Operations team, this individual will ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations across devices, applications, and systems. The role will directly support both local and global IT infrastructure, automation initiatives, and workplace technology, helping deliver outstanding user end-user experience. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong technical acumen and a passion for customer service. They will manage hardware provisioning, SaaS administration, and user lifecycle processes, while maintaining close collaboration with global IT teams to ensure alignment on policies, workflows, and tooling. This role is central to delivering a five-star IT experience that empowers our client’s employees to work efficiently and securely. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Operational Support • Act as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests in Dublin, resolving hardware, software, and account-related issues., • Deliver exceptional support across the full employee lifecycle—onboarding, day-to-day troubleshooting, and offboarding., • Lead setup and provisioning of end-user hardware (Apple, Windows, peripherals) and maintain device lifecycle records using asset management tools (e.g., Oomnitza, Jira)., • Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning across the client’s SaaS ecosystem, ensuring compliance and security via platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, and GitHub., • Maintain and improve IT support documentation an internal knowledge base to promote employee self-service., • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and SaaS applications., • Hands-on experience with Jamf and Okta administration or similar platforms., • Familiarity with asset management systems and SaaS administration., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to translate technical issues into user-friendly solutions., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail., • Experience supporting Mac and Windows environments, including device setup and lifecycle management., • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, Google Chat, Webex, and Jira.
