This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging, learner-centred creative arts sessions that inspire confidence, independence, and personal development. \n The Role \n You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative arts lessons to young people with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning disabilities. Using your creativity and adaptability, you will create an inclusive learning environment where students can develop artistic skills while building confidence and self-expression. \n Responsibilities \n\n • Plan and deliver engaging Creative Arts sessions.\n, • Support learners with a range of SEND needs.\n, • Differentiate learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes.\n, • Encourage creativity, independence, and personal development.\n, • Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.\n, • Work collaboratively with support staff and wider college teams.\n, • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.\n\n Requirements \n\n • UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent\n, • Experience teaching or tutoring Creative Arts, Art & Design, Creative Media, to Post 16 learners\n, • Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, or additional learning needs.\n, • Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.\n, • Strong communication and classroom management skills.\n, • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.\n\n All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
