The Opportunity We are recruiting a skilled and qualified Electrician to work within MTVH’s Metworks team. This role is offered on a temporary or temp-to-permanent basis and involves carrying out domestic electrical repairs and maintenance across approximately 10,500 homes throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. What’s on Offer • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, • 30 minutes unpaid lunch per day, • 1 in 3 weeks late shift rotation (9:30am – 6:00pm), • Company van and fuel card provided, • Power tools, mobile phone, full uniform and PPE provided, • DBS check required due to working in occupied homes, • Opportunity to progress into a permanent MTVH position with enhanced benefits Essential Requirements • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent), • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 and AM2 (or equivalent), • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, • City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent), • Full UK manual driving licence with minimum 1 year driving experience, • Ideally, previous experience of working in social housing The Role • Domestic electrical installation, repair and maintenance works, • Inspection, testing, certification and remedial works, • Working in compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and Building Regulations, • Attending in-house training and CPD to support NICEIC accreditation
