Location: Exeter Office - Hybrid Type: Full-time Reports to: Client Services Marketing Manager About Evolution Media At Evolution Media, we create content that connects and marketing that moves the needle. We’re a full-service content and marketing agency with an in-house production studio, delivering everything from high-end video to B2C campaigns and results-driven lead generation marketing. And now, we’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to help us grow our client base and push our services into new markets. The Role This is a dual-focus role. You’ll manage and convert inbound leads from our lead generation while also driving proactive outreach to bring in high-value clients. Your mission: turn interest into action and prospects into long-term Evolution Media partners across content production, B2C marketing, and lead generation marketing. Key Responsibilities Inbound Lead Conversion • Respond promptly to qualified inbound leads generated by our marketing campaigns., • Hold engaging discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and goals., • Develop tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate ROI., • Nurture warm leads through the decision-making process to close., • Maintain high conversion rates from lead to client. Proactive New Business Development • Identify and research target clients in priority industries., • Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline through networking, prospecting, and referrals., • Initiate contact with decision-makers via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events., • Represent Evolution Media at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities., • Create opportunities for high-value, long-term client relationships. Other Core Responsibilities • Manage the full sales process from initial conversation to signed contract., • Collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to shape solutions and proposals., • Ensure a seamless handover to account managers and delivery teams., • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets., • Track activity, pipeline health, and forecasts using our CRM., • Share market trends and competitor insights with the leadership team. What You Bring • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account growth, ideally in a marketing, content, or creative agency., • Experience managing both inbound lead conversion and outbound prospecting., • Strong understanding of content marketing, B2C campaigns, and lead generation strategies., • Excellent communication and presentation skills., • Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers., • Strategic, organised, and highly results driven.
