Data Analyst Central London - Hybrid 3/2 We’re looking for a commercially minded Data Analyst to join our client a global beauty group based in Central London. Operating in over 130 countries through retailers and direct-to-consumer channels, our client has become a major player in the perfume and beauty sector. What You’ll Do • Collect, clean, and analyse sales and stock data from multiple UK retail partners (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop, Harrods, Frasers etc) across multiple brands, • Interpret EPOS data, category reports, and retailer portals (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Circana)., • Build & maintain dashboards and reports to track SKU performance, promotions, margins, and availability across channels., • Support commercial and marketing teams with analysis of NPD launches, promotional ROI, and pricing strategies., • Ad-hoc support with major strategic decisions, • Build and maintain high quality reports and dashboards, particularly for trading, marketing and customer performance., • Deliver proactive analysis that are commercially relevant and decision focused. What You’ll Need • Experience working with major UK retailers and understanding of EPOS / POS / retail sales data., • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)., • Working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar., • SQL or Python knowledge is advantageous but not essential., • A proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be asked, you spot what needs attention and get stuck in, • The ability to turn complex data into clear insights and compelling stories that influence decisions, • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking — you know when to zoom in on detail and when to pull back to the bigger picture, • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insight and communicate it clearly, • Comfortable building reports, dashboards,, • Strong stakeholder skills — confident working cross-functionally and collaborating with non-data teams, • Experience in a beauty, retail, fashion, or a consumer brand environment
