Salary: £37k a year with uncapped commission Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the construction security sector, specialising in integrated security solutions. This is a field/office based role requiring strong B2B sales skills, on-the-road prospecting, and end-to-end sales management, from initial contact to project delivery. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation: • Identify and target construction companies, contractors, and site managers for security solutions., • Conduct on-the-road prospecting and cold visits to construction sites and offices. Client Engagement & Relationship Building: • Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with decision-makers., • Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their security needs. Site Surveys & Solution Design: • Undertake detailed site surveys to assess security requirements., • Recommend tailored solutions, including mobile CCTV towers and integrated security systems. Sales Process Management: • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals., • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract signing and handover. Market Development: • Stay informed on construction security trends and competitor offerings., • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional security services. Reporting & Performance: • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts., • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Experience • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction security or related sectors., • Strong knowledge of Mobile CCTV Units, IP CCTV systems, access control, and integrated security solutions., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills., • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel extensively., • Full UK driving license.
