Post Completion Supervisor \n Location: LiverpoolSalary: £27,000- £35,000 DOEJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent \n Post Completions Supervisor - Residential Property \n Location: Wirral or Surrey (Hybrid options available following training and probation)Reporting To: Head of Conveyancing \n About the Role \n We are seeking an experienced Post Completions Supervisor with a strong background in residential conveyancing to oversee post-completion processes across purchases, sales, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. \n This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and career-focused individual who is keen to establish and lead a growing Post Completions team. The role is heavily compliance-focused and requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of Land Registry procedures, SDLT submissions, and post-completion workflows. \n Key ResponsibilitiesPost-Completion Management \n\n • Manage all post-completion matters relating to residential property transactions, including:\n, • Purchases\n, • Sales\n, • Transfers of Equity\n, • Re-mortgages\n, • Prepare, review, and submit Land Registry applications (AP1, FR1, and related forms).\n, • Respond to Land Registry requisitions efficiently and accurately.\n, • Ensure the correct registration of titles, charges, restrictions, and interests.\n, • Liaise with mortgage lenders to satisfy post-completion requirements and panel obligations.\n, • Monitor and manage post-completion deadlines, diaries, and workflow pipelines.\n, • Ensure all undertakings are fulfilled and recorded in accordance with established procedures.\n, • Coordinate with accounts teams regarding residual client balances and file reconciliations.\n, • Ensure files are closed in line with internal policies once registration is completed.\n\n Compliance & File Auditing \n\n • Conduct regular audits of both open and closed residential conveyancing files.\n, • Review files against:\n, • SRA Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct\n, • UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook requirements\n, • Internal compliance procedures and risk management frameworks\n, • Identify compliance risks, procedural issues, and areas for improvement.\n, • Produce audit reports with clear findings and practical recommendations.\n, • Work collaboratively with fee earners and management to address and rectify audit findings.\n, • Maintain accurate audit records and compliance documentation.\n\n Skills & ExperienceEssential \n\n • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in residential conveyancing post-completion.\n, • Strong working knowledge of:\n, • HM Land Registry procedures\n, • Lender requirements and post-completion obligations\n, • Experience dealing with Land Registry requisitions and complex title registrations.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n, • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.\n, • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and work effectively to deadlines.\n, • Confident user of legal case management systems.\n\n Desirable \n\n • Previous file auditing or compliance experience.\n, • Experience working within an SRA-regulated legal practice.\n, • Familiarity with compliance reporting frameworks.\n, • Exposure to regulatory audits or external compliance reviews.\n\n Personal Attributes \n\n • Methodical, organised, and process-driven.\n, • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.\n, • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to risk management.\n, • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a wider team.\n, • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, lenders, and external stakeholders.\n, • Motivated to supervise, mentor, and develop others.\n\n What We Offer \n\n • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.\n, • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements following successful completion of training and probation.\n, • The opportunity to build and lead a developing Post Completions function.\n, • Exposure to compliance and regulatory work within a modern legal practice.\n, • A supportive and forward-thinking working environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.\n\n If this sounds like the right step for you in your conveyancing career then apply now! \n Benefits: \n\n • Company events\n, • Company pension\n, • Employee discount\n, • On-site parking\n, • Sick pay\n
