WPA provides expert Education Welfare and attendance solutions to schools, academies, and local authorities across the UK. Our teams work directly with families and educational settings to ensure children access their education safely, consistently, and with the support they need to succeed. About the Role We’re looking for compassionate and motivated Education Welfare Officers to support schools and families across London and the South East. WPA (part of Momenta and Outcomes First Group) works with schools and local authorities to improve attendance, support families, and make sure every child receives their full educational entitlement. This is a great next step for Teaching Assistants, Pastoral/Behaviour Support, Attendance Officers or Family Support staff looking to progress into a specialist welfare/safeguarding role. Whilst some training will be provided, relevant experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct home visits and support families to overcome barriers, • Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns, • Create action plans with pupils, parents, and school leaders, • Build strong relationships with Headteachers and SLT, • Produce clear reports and maintain accurate case notes, • Work independently across multiple school settings Essential • Experience working with children, young people or families, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • Confident managing a caseload and working independently, • Good written skills for reports and casework, • Understanding of safeguarding Outcomes First Group is the UK’s largest independent provider of high-quality special needs education, operating across England, Scotland, and Wales.
