Royal Tunbridge Wells
Are you a natural relationship-builder who enjoys speaking with business audiences and spotting commercial opportunities? This growing B2B publisher is expanding its sales team and is looking for someone who enjoys getting out into the market, talking to clients and selling advertising across both print and digital channels. You might be early in your media sales career, with at least 18 months’ experience and ready for a step up, or you could be a seasoned sales manager keen to take on a larger, better-known publication. Either way, this is a chance to join a friendly, ambitious company where you’ll have plenty of scope to make your mark. What you’ll be doing • Growing revenue across a well-established B2B magazine and its digital products, • Building strong relationships with both new and existing clients (expect a strong new business element at first), • Visiting customers and attending industry meetings, • Developing tailored advertising solutions and managing the full sales cycle, • Working closely with editorial and production teams to ensure smooth delivery What we’re looking for • A minimum of 18 months’ media sales experience for the junior level, or significant experience for senior applicants, • Confidence in approaching new clients and managing your own pipeline, • Someone who enjoys being proactive and commercially creative, • Strong communication skills and a warm, professional manner, • A full driving licence is useful as you’ll be meeting clients regularly What’s on offer • Basic salary from £20,000–£45,000, depending on experience, • Monthly on-target commission (£500–£800), quarterly bonuses for senior staff, plus an annual over-achievement bonus, • Full-time, office-based role in Tunbridge Wells, with time on the road visiting clients, • Potential to work from home after the first six months, • The chance to sell respected B2B titles with an audience that already knows the brand If you’d like to work with a supportive team, build strong client relationships and grow revenue on a publication with real potential, this could be a great next step.
