With more than 30 years of experience delivering complex brownfield and contaminated land projects, the business has built an excellent reputation for technical expertise, integrity, and high-quality project delivery. THE ROLE As Site Manager, you'll take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of remediation and enabling works projects across a range of UK sites. You'll lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Acting as the key point of contact on site, you'll work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include: • Leading site teams and subcontractors across multiple projects, • Managing remediation, enabling works, and groundworks activities, • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope, • Maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, • Managing site documentation, reporting, and project records, • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal project teams, • Monitoring site progress and resolving operational challenges, • Supporting the successful delivery of technically complex remediation projects, • Driving a positive safety culture across all site activities, • Ensuring efficient use of labour, plant, and resources ESSENTIAL SKILLS • Previous experience as a Site Manager within remediation, groundworks, civil engineering, enabling works, or related sectors, • Strong leadership experience managing site teams and subcontractors, • Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance, • Experience managing project documentation and reporting requirements, • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, • SMSTS qualification, • CSCS card, • Willingness to travel and work across UK project locations KEY SKILLS Ex-Military, Site Manager, Remediation, Brownfield, Contaminated Land, Groundworks, Civil Engineering, Enabling Works, Construction Management, Health & Safety, SMSTS, CSCS, Project Delivery, Team Leadership, Royal Engineers, REME
