This is a hands-on management role, where you’ll oversee the kitchen, support your team, and ensure smooth service. \n\n Your responsibilities will include: \n\n\n\t • Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen\n\t, • Leading, motivating, and developing your catering team\n\t, • Preparing and serving fresh, seasonal meals for the school\n\t, • Planning menus, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety standards\n\t, • Liaising directly with onsite clients and stakeholders\n\t, • Previous experience managing a kitchen, ideally in schools or high-volume catering environments\n\t, • Skilled in preparing fresh, seasonal food\n\t, • Strong people management and team leadership skills\n\t, • Good organisational and communication skills\n\t, • A proactive, hands-on approach with pride in maintaining high standards\n\t, • Daytime hours, no evenings or weekends\n\t, • All school holidays off\n\t, • Opportunities for training, development, and career progression\n\t, • Access to free qualifications\n\t, • Staff discount scheme across 850+ retailers\n\t \n\n IFG are committed to the safeguarding of children, and our employees share this commitment.
