Ensure strict adherence to the Children's Home Regulations 2015. Be responsible for the day-to-day operation/management of an Ofsted regulated residential provision. Manage the Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home. Assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision. Help with a thorough staff training and development plan so that the service has all the skills and expertise needed to support young people effectively. Ensure all staff consistently display professional ethics and behaviour. They will lead the coordination of service provision and serve as a central source of support, advice, and coaching for all staff. As a senior care worker, you will work in a variety of roles, ranging from delivering specialist, quality, person-centred care to clients to organising, supervising activity of other care staff. You will work across client's homes within the community As a senior care worker, you'll typically manage a team of care assistants including providing support alongside the manager. You'll write care plans and use your excellent communication skills to update families on their relative's progress. You'll need to have organisational skills to deliver improved care outcomes. Daily tasks will vary but could involve: Supporting service users with daily activities.
