Our successful swim program covers an array of stages starting from adult and baby/toddler, Pre-school 1/2/3 and stage 1-7 and beyond, leading on to our exit pathway of rookie and competitive stages 8,9,10 and adult swim lessons.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare lesson plans and a comprehensive scheme of work that meets the requirements ‘all Swim England Frameworks.\nCarry out all administrative tasks associated with the position, including lesson plans and schemes of work. Ensure all classes registers are taken every lesson and continuous assessment of pupils are update happen each week. \nEnsure upholding all GDPR guidelines at all times.\nResponsible for equipment set-up, organisation throughout the sessions and putting away at the end of the session.\nComply with the Swim England Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct at all times.\nEnsure all concerns of a child safeguarding nature are referred in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with Safeguarding policy.\nSupervise and mentor ASA/Swim England Level 1 Assistant Swimming Teachers as required. \nAdapt to be in the water where necessary to support the wide range of lesson delivered if needed.\n\nExperience and Qualifications Required\n\nASA/Swim England or SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification\nSEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming, or STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming and STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming qualification \nExperience of working in a comparable role.\nExperience of delivering first class customer service to a diverse client base.\nUnderstanding of relevant health and safety legislation and procedure, and the ability to exercise these in the workplace.\nExcellent communication skills, including listening, questioning, and delivering effective feedback, and the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with customers, children, their parent, and school officials.\n\nDue to the needs of the business and the department, we may interview suitable candidates before the closing date.
