Head of Events - Delivery & Systems We are looking for an experienced and driven Head of Events & Delivery Systems to lead the successful delivery of FSBs events strategy. This is a key leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for our online events and webinars, while also overseeing support for local in-person events through a dedicated team of Event Co-coordinators. You will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality event delivery, driving engagement, and maximising commercial opportunities. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of FSBs events strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals Manage and develop a team of Event Co-ordinators to achieve objectives and KPIs Oversee all online events and webinar delivery, ensuring a seamless user experience Manage and optimise the events software platform, resolving issues and working with IT on developments Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including sponsors and partners Support the delivery of in-person events alongside field teams Develop and maintain event policies, guidance, GDPR compliance and customer processes Maximise income generation, lead generation and member retention through events Handle event-related enquiries and complaints with a focus on excellent customer service Monitor, analyse and report on event performance and KPIs Manage budgets in line with departmental requirements About You You are a strategic thinker with strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering high-quality events and customer experiences. Essential experience and skills: Proven experience delivering an events strategy at a strategic level, including KPI management Experience managing remote teams effectively Strong background in online events platforms and systems management Experience supporting and delivering in-person events Competence in management information systems and Microsoft Office Experience handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints Ability to create engaging event marketing content for digital and local channels Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Desirable: Event management or CMI qualification/training Experience working in a remote or home-based environment Understanding of the challenges and needs of small businesses Personal Attributes Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across teams Proactive, solutions-focused approach High standards and a passion for delivering excellence Flexible and adaptable mindset Additional Requirements Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends. Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for business use. A suitable home office environment aligned to the needs of the role.
