Were hiring an AI Solutions Consultant to sit at the intersection of strategy, technology and people . If you live and breathe applied AI and love turning ideas into usable solutions this could be for you. What youll do Turn messy problems into clear AI opportunities. Spend time with clients to deeply understand their day-to-day challenges and shape where AI can genuinely help. Engage with stakeholders across the business. Run interviews and fact-finding sessions with leaders, SMEs and end users to draw out needs, constraints and opportunities. Design practical AI solutions using todays tools. Use platforms like Microsoft Copilot (M365, GitHub, Windows) , Google Gemini , Power Automate , Power Platform , Google AI Studio, Palantir Foundry, Gotham with the freedom to recommend new tools where they add value. Build and prototype with leading LLM platforms. Work with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI , Anthropic Claude and other cloud AI services to prototype and deliver solutions that actually ship. Create intelligent agents and automations. Develop advanced prompts, custom & MCP-enabled GPTs, Gems, Copilot agents and lightweight agentic workflows, co-creating with senior leaders and domain experts. Integrate AI into existing ecosystems. Plug AI into tools clients already use (e.g. Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Adobe, Teams, Dynamics, Salesforce, Google Workspace, internal knowledge bases ) to boost productivity and decision-making. Design for trust, quality and safety. Put robust guardrails, evaluations and quality checks in place. QA your own work and others to maintain confidence in the solutions we deliver. Cover the full customer lifecycle. Help design and deliver AI solutions from acquisition through to retention and advocacy. Make AI understandable. Translate complex concepts into clear explanations, metaphors and mental models non-technical stakeholders can act on. Produce client-ready artefacts. Create polished presentations, reports and playbooks (with support from our design team). Measure value and embed change. Help clients define success metrics, track impact and put in place engagement frameworks that stick. Champion responsible AI. Advise on safe, ethical AI usage, highlight risks and guide clients on how to mitigate them. What youll bring Experience - 3+ years in consulting or technology environments. Deep AI expertise - Strong understanding of AI concepts, current tooling and developments, plus solid technical foundations and context. Applied AI credibility - Youre already recognised for building real-world AI solutions and are certified (or actively working towards) credentials such as Azure AI Engineer Associate, Google Cloud ML/AI, or Microsoft 365 / Copilot certifications. Hands-on with tooling , including some of: LLM platforms (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude or similar) Productivity & automation tools (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Power Platform, low-code/no-code tools) Collaboration suites (M365, Google Workspace) and integrations (APIs, webhooks, connectors) Strong communication skills - You can turn complex ideas into simple, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders. Customer mindset - Understanding of customer lifecycle design, engagement frameworks and value measurement. Documentation & delivery - Comfortable producing structured, clear and polished client deliverables. JOB DETAILS Argon Business Systems is growing, and were looking for a capable and client-focused 2nd Line Technical Consultant to join our technical team. This role sits at the heart of our service operation, supporting our 1st line analysts with escalations while also working closely with 3rd line engineers on project delivery, infrastructure improvements and policy changes. You'll act as the link between desktop support and back-end infrastructure, so youll need solid experience across Microsoft technologies and the confidence to take ownership of more complex issues. Most support is delivered remotely, but there will be times where site visits are needed. We take pride in delivering a professional, friendly service so were looking for someone who combines technical ability with strong communication and a customer-first approach. Typical working hours are a 37.5-hour week Monday to Friday and need to cover the hours of 8am and 6pm.However, we are committed to supporting a work-life balance and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, including part-time hours or alternative schedules, during the interview process. What youll be doing Handling escalations from the 1st line/service desk team Supporting the 3rd line team with IT projects, infrastructure work and technical changes Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Entra, AD, Group Policy, Intune, Defender and related services Providing support across Microsoft 365, Windows desktop OS, Office applications and Apple devices Troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, networking basics and mobile devices Assisting with RDS/virtual environments Delivering occasional on-site support when remote work isnt an option Sharing knowledge, mentoring team members and contributing to better internal processes SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED What youll bring Around 4+ years experience in an IT support environment, with at least a year in a 2nd line role Strong skills across Microsoft services, ideally with certifications such as MD-102 or MS-102 Confidence supporting Windows OS, M365 apps, hardware diagnostics and general troubleshooting A grounding in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, basic configuration and fault-finding Experience with Microsoft Server OS for basic admin tasks A clear, logical approach to problem-solving under pressure Strong communication and customer service skills A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn and willingness to help others Full clean driving licence (required) Ability to meet security-vetting requirements & DBS We value candidates with AI literacy individuals who are curious about technology, comfortable exploring automation, and eager to contribute to a modern, forward-thinking business.
