Use your skills to build a career in Audit at BDO. Well help you succeed The work we do is underpinned by quality. We deliver audits which are trusted and transparent which can be relied upon by companies and their stakeholders. Youll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDOs Partners. Youll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value. Youll be someone with: ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major firms, including listed (full list and AIM) audited entities and those with international interests. Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. Managing and developing staff (not only audit teams), i.e. coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting etc. Business development experience- able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work. Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework. Educated up to degree level or CTS. Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site. Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements. Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice, and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering. Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
