A global chemical manufacturer producing specialist silicates, silicas and zeolites is looking to appoint a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join it's operations team in Warrington. Salary and Benefits • Annual Salary of £56,077 Plus on call allowance (once trained) of £8,446. Inclusive of 160 Banked Hours • Non contractual bonus, • 30 Holidays + 8 Bank Holidays and Warrington Walking Day, • Competitive Company Pension Scheme, • Private Medical Insurance, • Healthcare Cashback Plan, • Life Assurance Policy, • On site Physiotherapy and Occupational Health, • Perkz App, salary sacrifice schemes, Yoga classes Shift Pattern • Days based, with Call-Out Rota, • Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (30 minute lunch break), • 37.5 Hour Working Week The Role of Multiskilled Maintenance Technician The successful Multiskilled Maintenance Technician will play a key role in upkeep of plant equipment, infrastructure and site reliability through planned, preventative and reactive activities across both Mechanical and EC&I disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Engineer, looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement and sustainable technologies. Key Responsibilities of the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician: • Deliver planned and reactive engineering support across mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation systems, • Fault find and diagnose issues across complex process plant equipment, • Support plant reliability, minimise downtime and maximise operational availability, • Carry out engineering activities in line with SAP PM schedules, • Support commissioning, plant modifications and improvement projects, • Maintain compliance with HSE procedures, permits and isolation standards, • Work closely with stakeholders within various operations teams, colleagues and contractors alike, • Update engineering records and work orders within SAP CMMS systems, • Participate in the site on-call rota The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND in a related Eng discipline), • Multi-skilled experience across Mechanical and EC&I disciplines., • Experience within chemical, manufacturing or process industries, • Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, instrumentation and control systems, • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and control drawings, • Experience using SAP PM or similar engineering management systems, • Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and organisational skills Why Apply for the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician role?
