Drama Supply Teacher Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Start Date: ASAP/April 2026 Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term) Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications) About the role Great Drama teaching builds confidence, unlocks creativity, and gives students the freedom to express themselves. We’re looking for a Drama Supply Teacher who can step into the classroom or studio space and set the tone from the first moment. You’ll lead with energy and clarity, encourage participation, manage behaviour effectively, and create a safe, structured environment where students feel confident to perform and take creative risks. Confidence teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), adapting activities for different abilities, and bringing strong subject knowledge in performance, script work, and theatre techniques will make a real impact as a Drama Supply Teacher. About the school At Heart of Supply we work in partnership with a wide network of welcoming, well-supported schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, including primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority provisions, and specialist SEND settings. As a Heart of Supply educator, you’ll be part of a growing team that’s making a real difference in the classroom, gaining valuable experience across diverse environments. What you will need: • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with recent UK secondary Drama classroom experience, • Strong Drama subject knowledge and the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 is desirable), • Confident, consistent behaviour management in secondary settings, • Ability to build quick rapport with students and colleagues in a new classroom, • A proactive, adaptable approach with a genuine passion for teaching Drama, • At least 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience in secondary schools We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
