We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Application Architect with a strong C# .NET background to own the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. This role involves working closely with senior management, stakeholders, senior developers and subject matter experts to identify business needs and communicate the architectural vision. This hybrid role blends technical leadership and business engagement, with a unique 50/50 split between hands-on development and strategic transformation. How you'll make an impact • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS and Azure, • Lead technical design discussions, POCs, and documentation, • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver pragmatic solutions, • Guide engineering teams and influence technical direction, • Stay ahead of emerging tech and drive adoption across the team, • Expertise in C# .NET, Microservices, DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS, • Strong experience with AWS (Lambdas, RDS, Cognito), SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), • Consistent track record to connect with technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, • Experience with Azure, MongoDB, React/Angular, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy At Gallagher, we’re not just about insurance and risk management; we’re about creating a workplace where innovation meets inspiration.
