ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 10/27/2025, • Duration: 16 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiac conditions.\n, • Monitor and manage cardiac functions and support devices, including Impella, IABP, and LVADs.\n, • Administer medications including inotropes, vasopressors, insulin, and analgesics.\n, • Perform invasive procedures such as arterial line management and central line care.\n, • Maintain high standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and comfort.\n, • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, respiratory services, and social services.\n, • Assist in procedures like bronchoscopy, intubation, and targeted temperature management.\n, • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions and treatment plans.\n\n\nQualifications\n\n, • Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License.\n, • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI.\n, • 2+ years of critical care experience preferred.\n, • Experience with EPIC charting system is required.\n, • Charge experience and familiarity with trauma protocols are preferred.\n, • Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1-3.\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\n, • Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday required (one holiday off per contract).\n, • Occasional floating between units may be required.\n, • Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\n\n\nFacility & Patient Care Details\n\n, • Patient Age Groups: Adults primarily.\n, • Daily Census: Approximately 10 patients.\n, • Unit Bed Count: 15 beds.\n, • Health Benefits: Day-1 access to extensive benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and more.\n, • Onboarding Made Easy: We coordinate your onboarding essentials—like physicals and titers—so you can focus on patient care while we handle the details.\n, • Clinical Support: Our in-house clinical team is here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and advocate for you—every step of the way.\n, • 401k Retirement Savings Plan: After a qualifying waiting period, you're eligible to enroll.
