Job Description Job Title: Accounting Clerk / Accounting Assistant Location: Sunrise, FL Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Accounting Assistant to support the daily accounting operations of our office in Sunrise. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable, • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments, • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations, • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems, • Support month-end closing activities, • Assist with payroll preparation and reporting as needed, • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing issues, • Perform general administrative and accounting support duties Requirements & Qualifications • Previous experience in an accounting clerk or accounting assistant role, • Basic understanding of accounting principles, • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred), • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information Preferred (Nice to Have) • Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting or Finance, • Bilingual (English/Spanish), • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment Benefits • Competitive hourly pay ($22–$23/hr), • Full-time, stable schedule, • Monday–Friday workweek (no weekends), • Opportunity for growth within the company
