Job Description Job Title: Assembler / Inspector Job Description • The Assembler / Quality Inspector is responsible for performing both vehicle assembly and quality inspection activities to ensure products meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations., • Work in teams of 2 on an assembly line using hand tools and air tools., • Install components to the chassis (body) and connect wiring harnesses to terminals., • Adjust components to assemblies to meet operating specifications., • Train to use testing devices to check equipment., • Perform in-process and final quality inspections on vehicle assemblies, subassemblies, and components., • Inspect parts and assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to specifications., • Assembly and inspection experience., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools., • Must have a High School Diploma or GED., • Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred., • At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience., • Ability to read assembly drawings is a plus., • Must be comfortable using hand and air tools to assemble the vehicles., • Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, personal and sick time, vacation, paid holidays, and a 401K plan with a 5% match., • Work in a large manufacturing facility with 200 people spread across various departments such as Assembly, Welding, Machining, Warehouse, and Office., • Assembler / Inspector - $18-$21/hr., • 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs., • Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat., • Stand and walk for the duration of assigned shift and reach overhead continuously., • Use air/power/vibrating tools and do strong, pincher gripping.
