Job DescriptionJob Title: Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJob Description As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of products through our warehouse. You will ensure that both inbound and outbound shipments are handled with precision and efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality assurance and documentation. Responsibilities • Triage inbound shipments, prioritizing sales-order shipments first, followed by stock., • Verify all required paperwork and traceability elements, including part, serial, and batch numbers, cert type, trace chain, and dates., • Scan and upload documents, take required photos, and enter records into the inventory system., • Verify outbound part and serial numbers and ensure documentation is ready for audits., • Package parts, create shipping labels for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight, and prepare shipments for pickup., • Update the system and send a closeout email to the Sales team with all documents and tracking information., • Maintain clean and organized staging areas and warehouse locations., • Adhere to 'no loose parts' standards, ensuring all items are tagged, tracked, and staged correctly.Essential Skills, • Experience with inventory systems, including any ERP/WMS/inventory tracking systems., • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, PDFs, and basic Excel and Word., • High attention to detail and comfort with checklist-based work., • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., • Willingness to ship Hazmat items and obtain Hazmat certification, which the company supports., • Prior forklift exposure is strongly preferred, with the willingness and ability to certify on the job.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance., • Familiarity with blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and documentation review., • Experience with aviation parts inspection.
