Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler II Job Description We are looking for a skilled Assembler II to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies, working with pulley and cable systems, machined components, integrated circuits, and other production parts. You’ll follow detailed work instructions, use basic hand tools, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities • Assemble products following the Operational Method Sheet (OMS) and routing times to meet form, fit, and function requirements., • Perform in-process product inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards., • Conduct required audits including Tool Audits, Kanban Health Audits, and Card Audits., • Capture quality concerns, improvement ideas, and test results in the PA Dashboard., • Process Kanban cards accurately to maintain material flow., • Assemble, label, and organize proper quantities of parts at the station., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area., • Perform tool audits and correct issues as needed., • Monitor Kanban health and collaborate on corrective actions., • Identify and escalate quality issues, defects, and process discrepancies to Leads or Supervisors., • Follow QN processes with intermediate understanding of quality requirements., • Help achieve station, line, and plant KPIs by prioritizing tasks effectively., • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities., • Identify and report safety concerns proactively., • Review, redline, and suggest updates to process documentation., • Participate in 6S activities and maintain workplace organization., • Maintain certifications and stay updated on processes., • Support operations by moving between stations and assisting with resource gaps., • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to learn., • Complete all required training records in Master Control., • Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work extended or adjusted hours as needed., • Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills, • Experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment., • Strong attention to detail and quality focus., • Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools., • Basic computer skills and familiarity with production software., • Good manual dexterity, visual acuity, and simple verbal communication skills., • Ability to lift 25 lbs or more., • Proven ability to perform the responsibilities of a skilled assembler., • Dependable and willing to work extended hours when required.Additional Qualifications, • 2+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience., • Ability to read and follow basic work instructions., • Mechanical assembly experience., • Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (CI, 6S).Why Work Here, • Join an innovative and growing organization that values quality, improvement, and teamwork., • Work in a brand-new, clean, and well‑ventilated facility with modern equipment and comfortable work conditions., • Supportive environment that promotes learning, adaptability, and continuous development., • Personal locker, provided PPE, and well-organized production floor.Work Environment, • Fast‑paced, high‑quality manufacturing environment., • Extremely clean and spacious production floor., • All associates wear smocks and safety glasses (provided). This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
